I won the Guardian post award for outstanding woman in technology

This recognition in my country Cameroon comes in the sideline of the works I and my team are putting in through Seven Academy – IT training institute, Seven GPS -incubation center, and Sunshine Africa Education – nonprofit promoting quality education.

This prestigious award is organized annually by the Guardian Post Newspaper, the lone English daily in Cameroon. The award took place under the auspices of Prime minister head of government that was heavily represented.

Originally programmed to take place at the Yaounde city hall, the high profile ceremony was reorganized to a low key on restricted invitation at the Guardian post head office due to COVID-19

I was represented in the event by my Director of Communications George Munang.

The ceremony that took place on Friday 12th, June 2020 saw other heavy winners such as:

The PM Joseph Dion Ngute who the man of the year award for promoting peace and piloting the Grand national dialogue,

Hon Awudou Mbaya Cyprian for standing out to speak for the rights of Anglophones and even refusing to run for parliamentary elections,

Judith Achidi DG of Camtel took woman of the year award

Minister of public works and minister of finance Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, Louis-Paul Motazé for their outstanding role in the fight against corruption and implementation of public contracts and many other winners.
